| Bio [skip to publications list] |
In 1992 I graduated from Roberts Wesleyan College with a dual degree in English and Education. After graduation, I married my husband, Daryl, and spent several years teaching English and Writing in the public schools as well as in private learning centers where I was involved in course creation and instruction.
While I didn’t give up education fully, I did decide to further pursue my interest in books. In 1995, I began working for a used book search company, eventually becoming a book dealer myself. When my twin boys were born in 1999, I was able to raise them while working my business part-time.
In 2002 I completed a Masters degree in American Literature at SUNY Brockport. Shortly after, I decided to put all of my knowledge and experience into my life-long dream of writing.
Since closing my book business and focusing on writing, I have seen many of my articles and fiction published. In addition, I have developed writing classes and written literature study guides for the homeschool community. In addition to my freelance and education writing, I have plenty of experience in the business community, writing brochures, corporate bios, newsletters and website content.
Now that you know a little bit about me, feel free to take a look through my publications list and review a few samples of my articles, fiction and business copy. Whatever your writing needs, I am here to help. |
